What Do I Actually Want?
There are no "right" answers, no scoring tricks. Just simple questions to help you be honest about where you are right now.
When you finish, I'll personally read your answers. And then I'll record and send you a voice memo with what I'm noticing.
You won't get a template response or hear from a chatbot. It will be me, telling you what I see and what to do next.
Is this for you?
You'll know by the first question. But if any of these sound familiar, yes.
You're restless and ready for something, but you don't know what.
You're grateful for what you have, and quietly unhappy anyway.
You've been going through the motions longer than you'd like to admit.
Someone asks what you want, and you go blank.
You have a secret wish for your life, and you've never said it out loud.
Why can't I figure out what I want?
Because for a long time it hasn't been the question. The question has been what the kids need, what the job requires, what keeps everyone else okay. You got good at that. Somewhere along the way, wanting something for yourself started to feel selfish, or ungrateful, or simply beside the point.
I call this the good-life guilt trap. Your life looks great on paper, so you tell yourself you should just be grateful. And you are grateful. You're also restless, and the two keep cancelling each other out until you can't hear yourself at all.
The way back is smaller than you think. It starts with telling the truth about where you are to one person who is actually listening.
How this works
Answer six questions. Write as much or as little as you want. Messy is fine.
I read every word.
Within 72 hours on business days, you get a voice memo from me by email or text with what I see and what I'd do next.
There are no right answers. JUST say what’s true for you.
"I was feeling lost and disconnected from myself... I feel so much more confident. I show up like more of my true self." ~ Leslie
A few questions people ask
Is it really you?
Yes. Every answer, every voice memo. This is the part of my work I love most.
What if I don't know what to write?
Write that. "I don't know" is an honest answer, and it tells me a lot.
Do I have to book a call after?
No. The voice memo is the whole thing. If you want to keep talking, you'll know where to find me.
